Winner of the "IT-Women of the Year" Award for Business Innovation for the A Woman in AI initiative

We won the 2020 “IT-Women of the Year” award for Business Innovation!

I still cant really put it in words what happened in the last days and weeks. I mean if I look back at this year it was all just crazy and sooo many things happened. I remember when it all started and my whole routined stop within a second. I was used to travel all around the globe and had conferences and presentations in Singapore, America, India and all over Europe to literally just sitting in a small apartment without any of my robots or other people and on top o that I was not able to see my girlfriend who was stuck in America, while I was in Germany. I wouldn’t say I was coping with this well, especially because I am such a people person. But here I was sitting in that room and thinking of what should I do now with my time.

And that was the moment where I also have to be extremely thankful to my manager who gave me task and talked to me about how I should maybe start an interview series, which will later became A Woman in AI and also my new motivation and goal to create a platform for all the women in AI, and it’s been my motivation ever since and also the reason why I won this award. So an idea became something so successful that women all over the globe get inspired to become their own woman in AI and get inspired by all these amazing role models this website showcases!
